Brandon Boxing Club was established in 2013 by Alex Oliver, an amateur boxer with nearly 100 bouts under his belt with Spennymoore Boxing Club. The main aim of the club is to to provide support and enouragement to the young men and women in the East-Durham area, get kids 'off the street' and to promote a healthier lifestyle to all its members. We cater for all ages and levels of the sport, including Senior, Junior and Womens-only sessions. We actively encourage participation from all levels, from those who want to compete, to those who simply want to keep fit. We have a zero discrimination policy.

We run boxing sessions for Men & Women (Age 11+), Kids (Age 5-11), and Womens only sessions.

We are housed at the Brandon sports center, where boxers from the local area (and indeed many miles away), train in pursuit of emmulating the club's fighters who have proved themselves at both national and international levels.

We offer coaching for both seniors and juniors, from beginner's level upwards. The Club Boxing team competes throughout the year at various events both in the North East, throughout the UK and abroad.

Our current junior and senior boxing teams are amongst the strongest in the North East. We have regular shows against other boxing clubs, and are always open to challenges from other teams! If there are any teams out there who would like to challenge the Brandon Boxers on on future shows, pleade contact us.
