Brandon Boxing Clud: Serving the community and Producing Champions

Affiliated to England Boxing, Brandon Boxing Club is one of the most rapidly growing amateur boxing clubs in the North East.

Founded by Alex Oliver in 2013, Brandon Boxing Club train from Brandon sports club, with the main purpose to get kids 'off the street' and to promote a healthier lifestyle to all its members. We cater for all ages and levels of the sport, including Senior, Junior and Womens-only sessions. We actively encourage participation from all levels, from those who want to compete, to those who simply want to keep fit. We have a zero discrimination policy.

We have 12 coaches, all volunteers, who are DBS checked and hold England Boxing coaching and judging qualifications, First Aiders, Child Protection and Safeguarding Qualifications.

In the past five years, the club has achieved a great deal, winning titles home and abroad. With the backing of the local council and businesses, Ian Johnson and Brandon Cricket club, we have consrtructed a new building at Brandon Sports club. This allows us to house a purpose built facility to cater for even more members of the community. All this was made possible by the donation of a steel frame building by JJD Planthire.

We encourage anyone who wants to keep fit, or get involved in amateur boxing at any age and at any level, to come along to our sessions.
